November Drabble Fest Cards
So, I may have gone overboard in picking cards for the November Drabble Bingo Fest (shocking, I know), but the ideas kind of spiraled out of hand. I couldn't decide between the 3x3 card or the 4x4 card, so I grabbed both, although there is a decent amount of overlap. I think it'll be fun trying to write two different pieces for the same prompt, and I could certainly use the practice. Now, two cards wouldn't be so bad, but the genre prompts on their own still leave a lot of the direction finding up to me, so I thought I'd make a card of generic prompts to go with it... and ended up with three. XD
I made three different 5x5 cards, and included the lists I used in case anyone is interested. I chose 5x5s because that gives me 25 prompts, enough to use one prompt for each of the genre prompts on my two main cards. The first card is a Worldbuilding card; I figured I could use some inspiration in that area because of all the different genres I ended up with (and I'm new at worldbuilding, even if these prompts *are* all supposed to be drabbles). The second card is a character trait card, to help me flesh out any characters I might make. And the third card has general prompts, to aid in the actual substance of the story. I might not use all three for every genre prompt, but they are there for me to pick and choose from if I want to.
Filled prompts will be bolded, and if anyone has suggestions for any squares or combination of squares, feel free to let me know. My creativity can always use a boost. XD
