March Bingo Fill

The posting of this is much delayed, but here is my fill for the "spring ephemerals" square for the public "March Is... spring" bingo card.

Fleeting Pleasures

Dew drops on budding leaves,
gone by high noon.

Buds turn to flowers,
bright colors coming out to play.

Flowers blossom, opening wide,
then petals drift away.

The beauty of spring is
great but fleeting;

Enjoy it while it's here, because if you blink,
you just might miss it.

First Leaps

Frolicking on the mountainside,
the kids test their legs,
learning what they can do
ans enjoying the spring air.

Here is my bingo fill for the "new grass" square of the public "March Is... Spring" bingo card.

Fresh Green

Tender shoots poke their heads above the ground,
bringing spots of green to the brown places.
Slowly, the new grass heralds the arrival of spring,
bringing with it the promise of warmer weather
and the possibility of many days spent outdoors,
enjoying the fresh growth beneath your feet.

Pollinating

Buzzing, buzzing,
everywhere you turn;
Each flower seems to have a bee
sipping nectar to make sweet, sweet honey.
