I shall use the liquid measure then. I think it threw me because I didn't except cherries to be measured in mililiters. Maybe because they are maraschino cherries and in syrup?

The liquid measure is easier for me (no scale) and I needed two jars anyway so I'm covered both ways. Cookie time in the morning :)
