Bingo Fill: Starting College

I'm taking advantage of being on afternoons to post six fills instead of four. After all, it is after midnight now :D This fill is for the "starting college" square on the public Life Card for Fresh Starts Bingo. This was another one that left me with mixed feelings, so it has two fills.

Skilled Trades
a shadorma

It's building;
anticipation,
so eager
to begin
learning a skilled trade
at the local school.

Hope for the Future

Anticipation is building,
eager to begin but nervous too.
The college offers and apprenticeship;
a chance for book knowledge and hands-on learning both.

Construction has long held appeal,
Knowing how to build from scratch a siren call.
You show up on the first day, ready to learn,
hoping that this is the start of something great.

A Nonet

Here is a Nonet for the "first date" square on the public Life Card for Fresh Starts Bingo.

Untraditional
a nonet

There's no need to get fancy tonight.
While it's true that it's their first date
they are going to the barn
to take a long trail ride;
Dark jeans, a clean shirt
and boots will do.
Ready now,
time to
go.

Bingo Fill: Falling in Love

The sixth out of nine fills I managed to finish before the end of the month, and the last one I'll be posting until tomorrow. This is a Trimeric for the "falling in love" square on the public Life Card for Fresh Starts Bingo.

Confusion
a trimeric

Falling in love is a little different
when you're not sure you want sex.
Connecting can be difficult
when you don't know how people will react.

When you're not sure you want sex
everything is confusing
and hard to figure out.

Connecting can be difficult
with expectations in the way,
expert skill needed to avoid miscommunications.

When you don't know how people will react
you keep things hidden, rarely feeling comfortable enough
to reveal more than your surface layers.
