Weekly Update

The Rose & Bay Awards are now open. They celebrate excellence in crowdfunding and anyone can make a nomination. All nomination posts can be found on the [community profile] crowdfunding community. I am managing the Art and Fiction categories.

This week has been a pretty good one. The last days of my vacation went well, even though I wish I'd had a fee more days all to myself. Being back at work has been okay, and for the moment, my favourite coworker and I are on the same shift, due to a couple trades. I'm on afternoons this week, so I made quesadillas as my weekly meal and I've had a good amount of freedom while on shift.

So far, my New Year's Goals are off to a good start. I have started all of my continual goals that I can at this moment, and haven't missed a day yet (yay!). I haven't finished any of my one time goals yet, but I did make my list of charities, and not only did I read January's book, I've also finished February's and started March's (I read all of the February book minus 20 pages at work. In two days XD). I don't know if I'll be able to keep up this pace for reading, but I am paying attention to try to avoid burning myself out and missing a few months in the middle. I've also made a plan for reaching the goals that fell in my "yearly" category, so hopefully that will help me avoid forgetting about them or trying to binge them all in December.

Things I'd like to do next week include writing up some entries, working on the mittens, continuing on my recurring goals, and checking to see if there are any I'd like to add or anything I can do to start on my one time goals without overwhelming myself.

Hopefully everybody's year is off to a good start and that this one goes better for y'all than the last one!
