Weekly Update

Well, it is Thursday today, but I entirely missed last week's post. *headdesk* Oh well, at least I'm on time for this one. :) The past two weeks have been good, although this week has been much lazier than the previous one.

Easter weekend was super busy but very good. I saw a lot of family and had a lot of good food. The week of Easter Monday was our shutdown at work, so I had that whole week off. The time was definitely needed after Easter, although I didn't do a whole lot. There was lunch with a good friend, a game of Pandemic Legacy with a few of my friends, dinner and bowling on Saturday with my boyfriend, then Clip & Climb on Sunday for my sister's birthday. It was a good week, all in all, with a decent mix of relaxing and doing things.

This week has been very low energy, with not much getting done. I wasn't sure why I felt so blah, but I realized today I'm less than a week from the start of my cycle and that always makes me tired. That coupled with the holiday is probably what has sapped all my motivation this week. Despite not getting much done, this has still been a good week and I have good things planned for the next few days.

Goal-wise, yoga and going to the gym are the ones that have suffered the most. Oh, and doing the dishes. All of those seem to take a lot of energy and are harder to do if I'm not in the right mindset (although this effect is smallest with yoga). Most of my other goals have been okay, although I have not done as much reading or work on my socks as I would have liked. I should still be able to reach an acceptable point for both of those by the end of the month though, so I'm not too worried.

In the coming week, I'd like to make more progress on my socks and my book, and find a day with nice weather to start working on the garden. I think I have Sunday planned as a "me" day, so I will try to get extra rest and do some fun things then. :)

I hope all of you are doing well, see you next week!
