Re: Thoughts

>>I found that having at least a few of those gives me a great sense of accomplishment, especially because I have so many goals that can't be completed until the end of the year.<<

I might make sure to add some of these next year. I have a few this time around, some in the form of making a plan for the long term goals, but more might be nice, especially fun ones. I might also pick out a few one-time goals to put in specific months, so that I can spread them out some but still have a quick and easy goal later in the year if I need one.

Thanks for the links to the yoga videos, those will be really helpful!

>>Doing these things this growing season will make it easier to garden later. The first year, well, I'd plant things that can take a beating because you don't know the local challenges yet.<<

Oh, that's a great idea! Thanks for the links on how to perform those tests. I've never done them before, so instructions are helpful.

>>I love stashbuster projects.<<

Those look like fun ideas. My only problem is that I have mostly full balls of yarn, not leftovers, so the stashbusters are usually a little small for my needs.

>>I really like my "fill in the blank" goal because I always wind up with an unexpected project or two, and I like being able to take credit for that.<<

I don't have a specific "fill in the blank" goal, but I also don't usually add goals throughout the year, and if I do think of one, I'm most likely to just tack it on and make a note that it was a late addition. It sounds like it works well for you though. :)

>>My first idea would be to work on the request we got for a starter guide to Polychrome Heroics. My second idea would be thread pages for popular ones that don't have a page yet, like Rutledge.<<

Those are both good ideas. As soon as I have any spoons and time, I'll get started on those. Also the sample page, if it has entries currently on it.

>>Oh, that's a good idea. I do weekly reviews in January.<<

I enjoy your weekly reviews; it's cool to see other people's progrgess, and nice to have a place to share my own. I'm currently toying with the idea of making a chart or something to track goals more explicitly, but nothing concrete yet. I will definitely be doing the monthly reviews though.
