It's fun to see the successes and failures. I am entertained by the different types of testing and results.

But I had forgotten just how often and how badly forging goes wrong, until I watched it. I've seen more of metalwork at its middle stages, when people are pretty good at getting decent work. I've seen it evolve, and then it's fucking nightmare to get anything usable -- just not as much, so it's less in the front of my mind.
