Weekly update
Well, this week hasn't been the best since my car got hit early Saturday morning. Thankfully my car was parked on the street and I was safely inside my house when the incident happened. But I spent most of Monday and Tuesday dealing with writing the official report, handling insurance, getting a rental car, and getting my car towed to the repair shop. Now, the young man who hit my car left a number and the police got a hold of him, so his insurance is covering everything, but it's still a hassle for me. Hopefully the repairs get done quickly, and there is not huge underlying damage that I couldn't see.
Other than that, I spent three days at my grandma's, because she was helping me get to and from work and to the rental place and so on. I truly appreciate all the help from her and my dad, but I was glad to go home to my own bed Tuesday night. Family can be a lot to handle sometimes, especially when they are opinionated and high-energy and just a little bit steamroller-y.
I did get most of the required things done this week, other than shifting Monday's tasks (like dishes and cooking) to Tuesday, and I got some extra cleaning help from my grandma on Tuesday, which was mostly nice. As long as I stick with things for the next couple days, I should reach fifteen stars and thereby earn myself a special dessert! :D
I did some good work on my basket, and started crocheting circles for my sister, though I don't quite know how I'm going to connect them yet. I also bought a bunch of yarn for my temperature blanket project and I'm hoping it will be enough. I also bought other random pretty yarn that I didn't mean to and have no plans for yet, but that's how things go sometimes. *laugh*
I have made some progress on my paint by number, but if I want to make my quota for entries and book reading this month, I need to get on it. I will try to post a breakdown of how my goals went for February either later today or tomorrow, so there will be a reference of how my new year's goals are going.
I hope y'all have been safe and well, and that if things have been rough that the next little bit goes easier and better for you. :D *hugs*

Glad to hear you are safe and well even if the car isn't... and here's to better things!

I'm hopefully the car is repairable and will soon be whole and hale, though I am very thankful I wasn't in it when it happened. To better things! (And hoping you are safe and well also.)
