More bingo fills

In an effort not to snow you all with a bunch of poems, I'm limiting myself to posting four a day. Don't worry, they will all get posted, I'm just trying to spread them out a bit. I have also gone back and added links to the forms I used in my poems so far, and will be doing so in all the future ones I post. Today's first fill is a Catena Ronda for the "hiking/biking a long trail" square on the Public Activities Card for Fresh Starts Bingo Fest.

Pedaling Along
a Catena Ronda

The pedals go round and round
as I bike along the trail.
In the sky I spot a quail;
the pedals go round and round.

As I bike along the trail
the trees flash past at speed,
pushing limits the challenge I need,
as I bike along the trail.

The trees flash past at speed,
but now I slow to breathe before
I increase my efforts once more,
the trees flash past at speed.

But now I slow to breathe before
I miss the joys of the forest as
I push my body to give all it has.

Second poem

Growing
a nonet

Springtime is right around the corner,
the seeds are all ready to go.
It is time to spread new life,
plant it tenderly now.
As the rains come down,
the roots will grow.
Flowers soon;
wait-- then
bloom.

Number four is a Naani for the "making a discovery" square on the Public Activities Card for Fresh Starts Bingo Fest. It's a rather short poem that was nonetheless fun to write.

Out for a walk
in the local park,
my eyes light up as I spot
a rabbit; stopped to nibble the grass.
