Buying more poetry

So, I know the Half-price sale in Polychrome Heroics just ended, but the Shiv/China's Mistake thread stopped in a very owwy place, and I would really like to be able to sponsor the poem with the comfort.

Of the three remaining poems (listed below), the main focus is "To Endure Pain with Patience". Any more than that will go towards the remaining two. Because of the upcoming fishbowl, Ysabetwordsmith has recommended that I close this by Friday 30th, so I will wait until about 11pm EST Friday before doing my finally tally. If you need more time for funds, let me know, and I can work something out.

Even 10 bucks helps, so don't feel bad if you don't have much but still want to help! And definitely don't feel bad if it's just not in the budget for you right now, I totally get it. Let's buy some poems! (I hope.)

That was a poster tagline from one of the "flying saucer" UFO movies that were popular drive-in fare, maybe when your parents were young and in love. Sorry that got past you. In this case, I was using it as a fannish way of saying "keep your eyes open for an event of significance".

Which event should have already occurred. I sent my pledge in recently.

I did wonder if it was connected to your transfer, since the money came in about the time I read your comment. Sometimes references like that slip past me, so I wasn't sure if you meant literally or metaphorically. I like the turn of phrase though :)

*laugh* I thought you meant pennies from heaven, in reference to money, but the phrase dates back to messenger birds and astronomy/astrology, so thousands of years. Figuring out which referent from that gets a bit guessy.
