Weekly post

This week was a pretty decent week. Still sort of lazy and unmotivated, but good overall. My long weekend was nice too; saw my grandpa for his birthday on Saturday, and then basically did nothing else the rest of the weekend. My pot pie dish did turn out really nicely though, so I'm happy about that.

I managed to do most of the daily tasks this week, though Tuesday was a wash completely (and I stayed up super duper late on top of that). On the plus side, I am just about caught up on the dishes, and I should be able to do the remaining few when I get home from work today. I also earned my first star of the month, so I can by myself a tasty treat - perhaps some clinical grade chocolate this time.

I'm not sure what the upcoming week holds, but I will be trying to get back on top of household stuff (bleh) and I'm seeing a friend tonight, so that will be really nice :)

I hope everyone is having a good week, and that the coming weekend treats you all well. :)

So far, reasonably well.. grinding through a problem at work, I think I have one more bug to swat and then be done...

Our youngest pulled his Achilles in footy practice; he may end up deciding footy just isn't worth it... he's at least got a PE class this year that, once he's healed, will keep him bouncing around...

Oh, grindy problems at work are no fun. I hope it was only one more bug and then taken care of; never-ending problems can be so tiresome.

Ouch, I hope the injury heals well. It's good that he'll have a PE class for activity even if he does decide against footy (soccer, right?).

He says it's getting better. Yeah, footy for me is round-ball soccer, not Aussie Rules...

I'm sorry to hear that. Hopefully this week of work will involve less grind.

Good, I'm glad to hear that. I thought so. Sometimes I get lost with the sports terms though, and distinguishing round-ball soccer from American oblong football can be tricky.

'murkin phootball (or it's CFL equivalent) I call "handegg", for obvious reasons.
