This week, ysabetwordsmith is having a Half-price Sale in Polychrome Heroics. I will be focusing on the Trichromatic Attachments poems this time, starting with "Our Power to Change," which is $168 at quarter price. "Bad Turn to Good" ($36) will be the stretch goal. As always, joining the pool automatically gets you quarter price and if you are contributing money you have a say in the targets. This can be especially handy if you want a poem that is under $100 but still out of range at half-price; joining the pool cuts it in half again.

I will be closing the pool Saturday evening EST, in order to collect the funds and deliver them to Ysabet for Sunday. If anyone is interested, feel free to comment here or PM if you have questions or would like further details.

I'm also interested in the Mercedes poems, especially the second (pricier) one. "A Bit of Comfort and Kindness" is $22 at quarter-price, and "One of the Best Ways to Fight Crime" is $76.75.

Think I'll open with 1/4 of "Our Power to Change" ($42), half of "Bad Turn to Good" ($18), and "A Bit of Comfort and Kindness" ($22), which totals out to $82 -- feels about right. Will consider further contribution depending on who shows up with how much. Absent further action, I can swing the Mercedes money into the Trichromatic Attachments buy to get closer to getting the two poems there.

janetmiles just bought "A Bit of Comfort and Kindness," so you can cross that off your list. I know you wanted to avoid marooning single poems, so you've got an opportunity to switch to the other Mercedes poem if that also interests you.
