I'm late. Again.
So I'm once again late, though only by one day this time. I'm almost fully settled in the new place, 5 boxes or less left to unpack if I counted right. And most stuff has been organized and put away somewhere. There are still a few minor things to do, but by this time next week, I'm hoping everything is just about finished. I could certainly use the break.
The busy-ness of everything has gotten to me, I think, and I spent a lot of this week overwhelmed and just wanting to run away. But I did still get stuff done, I survived the week, and I have plans this weekend to visit a friend and not need to do *anything*, yay! And then Christmas is coming so it will get busy again, oh boy.
Overall though, things have been good and I'm hopeful that I can return to something resembling a normal routine again very soon. I hope you all have been doing well and that the holiday season treats you kindly and gently. And for my friends that I know have been facing frustrations lately, I hope those go away post-haste and do not return. Hugs to all. :)

Not too frustrating here, thanks Be; one minor kerfuffle yesterday, but fixed before it got dark, so that was a win...

Yay! I'm glad it was only minor and resolved same day.

Good job on the unpacking. When I was single, I could unpack an entire household within a week (I had furniture and possessions and stuff). With a family, happens slower, but still more efficient than most folks, many of whom, months later, still have dozens of boxes marked "stuff"or "misc" lying around

That is impressive. Unpacking has not been fun at all, and I'm tempted to just ignore the boxes, but I want it done and finished more than I want to ignore them.

That’s what motives doing most unpleasant tasks (or it’s the fear of getting fired, but not applicable here).

Many hugs to you too, as you find your new routine.
