Weekly Update

I'm a day late, but at least I'm posting. The past week has been mostly standard, with more things done than not. The weekend turned out really well, with a fun poker day and a wonderful day at the beach. It wasn't killer hot but it was still warm enough to go in the water and even though I got too much sun, I didn't end up overly burnt.

I was on days this week, so I played volleyball yesterday with my work team, which ate badically all my free time. I also didn't get to have lunch with my friend, but we have other plans so that is nice. :)

Coming up, I've got a fairly busy weekend but it should be a fun one. I've also done decently well at getting the mundane things done today, so hopefully that leads to less stress on the weekend. I do have to remember to shop ysabetwordsmith's half-price sale, either today or tomorrow before I get too busy.

Yay! I was worried that things might have gone haywire on your end somehow, because usually if you reply to the advance announcement then you're right on top of the sale when it opens. It's good to know that you just had a busy week.

I had intended to run a pool, but I forgot to set it up Monday, and then the whole week ran away on me. Nothing major, just standard business, but it seemed to sap my energy more than normal. I knew I definitely wanted to buy things though, so I made sure to come back to the sale and grab some. :)
