Weekly Update
This week has been pretty good. I had a vacation day yeyserday and have all of next week off, so that will be super nice. I didn't cut the grass or do any edits, but I did make a breakfast pizza for dinner yesterday (delicious!) and my dad is working on making me recycle box covers (finally) so it's been ok.
I'm hoping to be able to use my vacation to relax, stain a bunch of wooden objects, do some yard and housework, and get a pile of editing and indexing done. We'll see how it goes, but I'm hopeful.
In other news, I kind of have a blind date in about half an hour? He is the cousin of one of my managers (which strikes me as slightly off, not sure my manager really should have hooled us up), older than me, has a good job and wants a family apparently. I'm not sure how this is going to go but I figured I'd at least give it a shot. I'm not the best at strangers, or conversations, or commitments, on top of all my slightly left of normal personal interests (kink/sex wise) so I don't know if we'll click, but it shouldn't be a disaster. I hope.

Thanks!
I did get to ride his Harley though! First time on a bike was pretty fun, though I want to go riding horses now. 😆
Re: Thanks!
I think I'd like to ride a carbon-based horse (as opposed to iron ones), if I could find something sturdy enough to suit me... bear may be short, but he is *round*... Morgan or Fresian or the like...
Re: Thanks!
I've enjoyed my experiences with carbon based horses so far. I think you'd like it, if you found an appropriate match.

Glad you had fun on a Harley!
Re: Thanks!
I enjoy being around horses too, even if I'm not riding. I hope you have a chance to see them soon.
Ya, it was definitely new, but it was a lot of fun, and less scary than I thought it would be.

(Anonymous) 2020-06-28 04:19 pm (UTC)(link)Horses don't make engine noises, it's just better for me!
Re: Thanks!
Indeed, horses do not make engine noises and in fact are fairly quiet overall. Other benefits include not being in traffic with very little protection, and the movement of the horse is supposed to be good for bodies too. Wishing you time for horses soon. :)
