Alright, that's a good suggestion, and easy enough to do. I was watering it every couple days in the house, which might not have been enough, so it's a little rough looking, but I'm game to try watering it regularly outside for a month or so and see what happens. On the plus side, the green bits look really green, so I have some hope that it will be happy and recover. And if there are still brown bits after that, I look check them and trim them then.
Oh, that's a good idea. I don't have a whole lot of leaves in my yard, but I do have three lilac trees, one of which is massive, so I still get a decent amount.
