This weekly post will be in bullet form, because I have a headache and I'm at work and running low on sleep.
Gas meter was replaced Tuesday, crack found in the exhaust pipe, which are no longer to code, so Wednesday morning the HVAC guys came out and fixed that for me. No more risk of carbon monoxide poisoning but also no invoice yet so I have no freaking clue how much that cost me.
Work Monday sucked, but the rest was okay, so that could have been worse.
Saw a friend on Saturday that I hadn't for about 2 years so that was nice. Also not as much of an energy drain as anticipated which was a bonus.
Have managed to mostly keep up on the daily things (although with all the house repairs that had to happen my schedule got a little out of whack). Mostly did the amount of entries for Ysabetwordsmith that I had planned on so that's pleasing. And I made good progress on the mittens for my dad so I'm hopeful that they will be done by the end of the month.
Another visit planned for this Sunday with the same friend, though hopefully not as long as last week, so I'm optimistic about still getting done as much as I want to over the weekend.
Won an "award" at work for being "Bold & Agile" (it's a reward system that lets coworkers or supervisors recognize when an individual goes above and beyond) so I ended up with $300 on a pre-paid visa to spend. Went to a local yarn shop and blew through 2/3 of that, so now I have a whole bunch of pretty yarn to use (and zero actual plans for it), some of which may end up filling some of my March Bingo prompts.
Brain is now mush, and 3 hours of work left, hope everyone else is having a better Thursday, and that the coming weekend holds only awesome things for you all. *hugs*
