Weekly Update
Sep. 28th, 2023 08:52 pmHey, it's actually Thursday! This week has been pretty good. I had a low-key Saturday, then went to a pumpkin patch with my family on Sunday. We picked out some good pumpkins for carving, painting, and just as decorations. It was a nice trip and a fun way to spend a Sunday afternoon. The rest of the week was pretty average; some lazy days but more daily goals being met than missed, so I'll take it.
With the help of my sister, I finally finished the puzzle I started way back in January. I glued it together and I think we're going to hang it in the laundry hallway; it's a nice landscape picture. We also completed two more puzzles; one has the crests for the Ontario Provincial Parks which we completed together in one sitting, and one is a fall scene with cars and houses, as well as pretty autumn trees. That one was mostly my sister, though I did help a bit.
Plans are being made for Thanksgiving, and I have a tentative idea of what I want to work on in the coming week, so things will hopefully be good in that regard. I really do need to take care with what I eat and how much I sleep around certain times, because I end up exhausted and drained if I don't. I always seem to forget that until I'm in the middle of it though, which is usually too late to do any good.
Two random things: first, I was listening to "That's All" by Gensis on the radio the other day, and it is a sadly apt song for how management is with the hourly workers at my job. Seocnd, a coworker and I have plans to go to Cedar Point this Sunday, so I'm looking forward to having a fun day with her. :)
I hope everyone is doing well, and that any seasonal celebrations you may have planned go well. :)
