Weekly Update
Mar. 14th, 2024 10:59 amThis week has been pretty good. My sister had an Amazing Race party on Saturday which I got to do with my boyfriend, and it was a lot of fun. Slight downside: all the germs floating around finally caught up to me and I was feeling the best Saturday. Thankfully it seems to have been just a short lived cold and I'm feeling much better now. Sunday was lowkey but still productive, which was very nice.
Work has been alright so far this week, as much as it ever is. I did make it to the gym on Tuesday, the first time in a little while. I have plans to go today as well, though I need to do a few more things first. I got out for a walk with my good friend yesterday, which means I was able to enjoy the nice weather before it left, and I did my "one outside activity a month" for March. I'm still making progress on my socks and seem to be on target for finishing by the end of May or sooner. I'm also crocheting a dishcloth which is about half done, but I seem to be doing a terrible job of keeping it square. Oh well, it's just a dishcloth; it will work just fine even if it's crooked, and it's a lesrning experience as well.
Coming up, I think it's time to start acquiring mulch for the garden and think about any things we may want to plant this year. I can also see some weeds in the flower beds, so I should probably pull those when I have a chance. I still need to practice my flute this month, and I'd like to start book 5 of the series I'm reading.
Other than that, I don't have too much planned for the near future. It's actually kind of nice; I could use a few quiet days. I hope you all are doing well; have a fantastic weekend!
