I like the unique verb endings, because it means you can drop the pronoun and still have a cohesive sentence, though it does take getting used to. The different endings for grammatical case... I can see the logic behind it, but I do feel it is unnecessary. It might also be easier to follow if English was a language that did the same thing. It's harder to remember what the "dative case" or "accusative case" is, when English makes no distinction (or indeed any mention) between them.
