Comfort Corner

The carpet is thick, soft and cream coloured, while the walls are a yellow bronze colour. In the corner along one wall there is a large sofa, able to seat 4 or 5 people comfortably. Along the other corner wall there is a smaller sofa for 2 or 3 people. In the middle of the furniture, there is a low, round coffee table, perfect for colouring at or for other craft activities.

There is a scratching post and a cat tree for climbing, which are both along the wall opposite the couch. A few fluffy beds have also been put out, in varying sizes, in case any one prefers the floor. There is also a large sturdy perch and a marked off area that says "Landing Pad" in case any winged friends want to visit.

There is now a blue chaise chair in the nook as well, which has been placed near the couch and is good for both sitting and spreading out lengthwise.

There are two baskets off to the side. One contains fuzzy blankets, a variety of fuzzy and textured pillows, and a collection of stuffed animals while the other contains a variety of art supplies, ranging from colouring pages and blank paper to crayons and coloured pencils, and more besides.

Today's snacks include apple cider, hot chocolate, tea, baked sweet potato fries, cucumber sandwiches and tuna salad. Feel free to grab a plate and a blanket and cuddle up!

The Bear wanders in bearing fresh English muffins, slices of ham, cheese, and lox, a bowl of spinach, and a case of plain looking cardboard boxes each labled EGG, SELF POACHING, 2 EACH. And a chrome plated pitcher of Hollandaise. (Yes, that's a joke.)

He proceeds to make himself a split order of Eggs Benedict, one ham, one fish, and brings the resulting plate and a mug of cider to sit by J.

There is a noisy fight over the winged perch for a moment before Phoenix-formed Trausio perches on it, and Kae and Craimar )Falcon and owl respectively) perch on the back of the larger couch. All of them seem a little better for the playfight over the landing pad, and flick their wings to settle more comfortably.

A werecougar (Someone new for you to meet) flows in like water carrying a basket of pastries in his mouth that he's made. His mate, Jill walks beside him, her hand on his head, glancing around a bit nervously. Trausio has said to come unarmed, but her fingers still itch for her knives and whip; she is not used to feeling this vulnerable ande naked without her weapons about her.

Sh'lainn bounces in, slithering into the Shaize chair to lounge there while she snacks on a huge wedge of watermellon she's brought with her.

Errol comes in, folowed by Clarien in bobcat form who heads straight for one of the sturdier scratching posts and works it like a boss. Meanwhile the man grabs fixings for a locks and cream cheese sandwitch and flops on the couch looking for cuddles.

The little dragon who seems to be follwing after clarien of late lays along the back of the couch as well, settling between Kaelaren and Craimar with a familiar comfort that says xe knows them quite well by now and has no fear of them even though, in her currewnt form, they could probably eat xoir for breakfast and not be amiss for it.

There are various verbal and telepathic greetings from the lot of them as they settle in for comforts and fuds.

***Warning for mini rant:

I could *soo* use a cuddle right now. Family always hi-jacks my plans and I got almost nothing done that I was supposed to because the plans shifted from what I prepared for, then Nascar ran long so I was later leaving my grandma's than I wanted to be AND THEN my dad wanted to stop at the bank on the way home AND THEN we paused at his place to drop off stuff before I brought him to his friends place before FINALLY getting to go home. (The bank isn't too far out of the way, and the friend from the bank would have been fine, but dad is really close to me so I basically had to backtrack twice. Not super far, but still.)

Cuddles anyone? Family has a way of draining my spoons even though I love them, and I now have to make up all the productivity tomorrow.
