Four-Legged Companion
a hexaduad

Soft fur
Loud purr
Always ready to pounce
if there's a mouse to trounce.
I told mom and dad not to worry
when I asked for something furry.
I will pitch in,
and clean the bin;
my new four-legged friend
is worth the time I'll spend
cleaning litter
and feeding her.
