I'm glad you haven't had any crunchy metal (or plastic, as the case may be) but stressball-y stuff at work AND home sucks, especially when it's at the same time. I'm glad it's on its way to be resolved, though I imagine it IS rather difficult.
I'm hopefully the car is repairable and will soon be whole and hale, though I am very thankful I wasn't in it when it happened. To better things! (And hoping you are safe and well also.)
