This month [personal profile] zaniida is hosting the Genderplay Bingo Fest and has made some great Bingo cards and Genderplay AUs in which you can look at flipping society (and gender expectations as we know them) on their head. I have chosen to use the Facets card, though some of the AUs sounded like a lot of fun and I may use one or two of them if an idea strikes my fancy. Since I'm not the best at fleshing out stories, I might use this fest to test out creating just one part of a story: creating a character in detail, making a specific setting, creating a school or business and looking at how they would function, etc. I like seeing ideas brought to fruition, so I may very well decide to make characters and settings free use for anyone who has an idea for them. I will make a note on anything that is open use, and if you don't see a note but are still interested in crafting a story, drop me a message and we can discuss things. :)

Filled prompts will be bolded. If you have any ideas or things you'd like to see that go with one of the squares below, let me know and I'll do my best to create something for you.

By the by, when designing an AU, consider how the culture deals with the foundations of morality:

Care/Harm: Under what circumstances is it acceptable to cause pain or harm to others?
Fairness/Cheating: How is justice best achieved? To what degree is inequality acceptable (or inevitable)?
Loyalty/Betrayal: When should connection to the group override other concerns (including truth or justice)?
Authority/Subversion: Who rules over others, and to what degree should that rule be respected? When to break rules?
Sanctity/Degradation: How does one keep oneself pure, and to what degree is this important? Why is impurity bad?
Liberty/Oppression: Which good things are important enough to curtail liberty or violate free will?
