Finally! An update

I have missed the last two weekly updates, without even a delayed posting going up. This one is squeaking itself in at the last second, despite my intentions for getting it done earlier.

I'm sleepy and not thinking great right now, so it will be shorter and probably less coherent than I intended, but I did want to at least post something.

My birthday was last Wednesday (the 6th), and Thanksgiving was on Monday the 11th, so I used my remaining vacation days to take off Thursday through Tuesday. Having the 6 days was awesome, and I had a good mix of seeing family, doing nothing, and a dash of productivity. I did dinner on Thursday for my birthday, and also had family over Saturday, and both were great. My family Thanksgiving actually happened the weekend prior, so I spent Sunday and Monday home alone, much to my relief and pleasure.

I have been managing to get most of my weekly tasks done, I had a decent therapy appointment on Wednesday, and I even managed to do work on a few entries for ysabetwordsmith. I have a lot more that I need to accomplish in the coming weeks and months, but I'm relatively pleased with the year so far and I'm hopeful that everything will come together smoothly for me.

I hope you all have been keeping well, and that the coming weekend treats you fabulously. Also, this isn't proofread, so I apologize in advance for any typos; feel free to point them out if they are particularly glaring or if they bug you.

*laugh* It is definitely faarrr past my bedtime; it took me a good ten seconds to parse what you meant by "hippo birdies." Thank you for the wishes, I've managed to treat myself to a few things lately :) Here's wishing all the best for you as well.

There are various Issues hereabouts, but we have Plans for which to deal with them, and at least work is going better than it had been.... I got four change requests through this week and no hiccups *knock wood*...

I'm sorry to hear there are Issues for you, but glad that you have a Plan for handling them. :) I'm glad work is going better than before. Yay for getting those changes requests through, and I hope they continue without problems.

Thanks :) I'm feeling good today, just rather tired as I didn't sleep much. I also seem to have a little bit of my motivation back, so I'm hoping that continues.
