Comfort Corner

The carpet is thick, soft and cream coloured, while the walls are a yellow bronze colour. In the corner along one wall there is a large sofa, able to seat 4 or 5 people comfortably. Along the other corner wall there is a smaller sofa for 2 or 3 people. In the middle of the furniture, there is a low, round coffee table, perfect for colouring at or for other craft activities.

There is a scratching post and a cat tree for climbing, which are both along the wall opposite the couch. A few fluffy beds have also been put out, in varying sizes, in case any one prefers the floor.
There is also a large sturdy perch and a marked off area that says "Landing Pad" in case any winged friends want to visit.

There is now a blue chaise chair in the nook as well, which has been placed near the couch and is good for both sitting and spreading out lengthwise.


Sorry this post is so late guys! Have some extra blankets and cuddly stuffed animals to make up for it! Today's edible offerings include chicken noodle soup, hot apple cider, oatmeal walnut cranberry cookies, and triple chocolate cookies.

A swirl of what looks like dark mist or smoke drifts in, and solidifies into a small black cat. On silent feet the cat drifts across the room, sniffing carefully at each of the treats, and finally settling into the darkest corner of the cat tower. Invisible, save for a pair of lambent yellow eyes like twin moons, slowly blinking.

[in other words; 'hi... not feeling up to being very sociable but appreciating the company.']

Fuzzy J looks up from the book she is reading on the couch and waves hello to the black cat. She goes back to reading, content just to share company with the cat, but more than willing to share the cushion, her lap, or give pets, if the cat changes his mind. :)

Comes closer and settles next to but not on the offered lap.

Conflicted feelings

*J grabs her grey Webkinz horse and squeezes it tight* I just finished hanging out with my ex and it went pretty well, better than expected, but I still don't know how I feel about the whole thing. I don't think I've finished processing all the emotions but I am working on it and I would like to remain friends at least. I care about him a lot still.
*snuggles deeper into the couch and settles in to just have some time with no expectations of her*

Bored

Soooooooo bored! Work sucks when you have to just sit there and wait xd

*hunts around the nook for some toys, or maybe a 3-D stacking type puzzle, something to keep the boredom at bay*

I think I'm going to go to the gym after work and do some rock climbing. I have waaaay too much energy and frustration to burn.
