Weekly Post

fuzzyredWell. This is a day late. First time this year, and hopefully the last though realistically, probably not. I worked overtime before my shift yesterday and went out for drinks after, which means my time for doing things was all before 11am or while I was at work. And sometimes I can post and do Duolingo at work, but yesterday was not a day that went that way. Instead, there is a very late post today.
The week was mostly okay, but work was kind of a butthead this week. I have a long weekend now which is nice (Friday AND Monday off), then I'm working our Easter shutdown week which means easy jobs and probably no oversight for most of the time. It also gives me four vacation days to use at my discretion, since I'm not taking these ones like everyone else is.
I curled tonight, and am participating in the Swing & Sweep tomorrow, which will be two 4-end games of curling and 18 holes of golf. I'm decent at curling and have never done real golf in my life, so this should be interesting, but my team is in it just for fun so it's all good. I'm looking forward to it although it's going to be a busy day, because after the tournament, I'm doing Easter dinner with my grandma and cousins. I am also doing Easter dinner on Sunday with my mom and sister, so this is a fairly busy weekend. On the plus side, I'm pretty sure I have no plans Monday so I should be able to relax then.
