If you're not familiar enough with gaming terminology to know what a boss battle is, TVTropes is your friend. Anyway, that appears to be what you have on your hands at the moment. Big Boss PMS has hit you with their hormone and emotional attacks, and taken away (almost) all the spoons you need to defeat them. At the same time, their minions are throwing lots of Stuff To Do at you, which you have to deal with so you can get more spoons for the climactic battle. Good luck!
