Vacation Post
Jul. 2nd, 2020 10:53 pmWell, I got all the items stained that needed it, and I picked out paint colours for my upstairs room. I saw a couple friends, and my sister's husband did fireworks for Canada Day, so I went and saw those. It's been a good week off work, but less productive than I might have wished. I have a few days left for getting things done though, so I'm hopeful still. And relaxing is always a good thing.
Next on my to-do list: cut the grass, work on edits, updates, and indices, work on bingo prompts, make progress on my basket, and buy a lotto ticket. I would really appreciate not having to go to work every day, and since I have no concrete idea on how to do this and I still need to pay bills, I have settled for taking a chance on the lottery. I am extremely grateful for my job; it is stable, decent hours, good pay and benefits. I know I'm lucky to have. I just sincerely wish I did not need to work a 40-hour-a-week job, I have so many other things I'd rather do with my time.
