It is probably past my bedtime but I still wanted to get this up. It's been a pretty decent week; work was mostly okay, I did about 4 rounds of gardening, I got much of my daily things done, and I'm nearly caught up with my temperature blanket. I had a therapy appointment this Monday, and apparently my counsellor was right about checking things off a list being motivating. I started off checking off my daily tasks and adding stickers if I did them all, but I got lazy about it and stopped checking things off. I was still doing things, but I wasn't as good about getting everything done. Since the appointment though, I've made a point of checking things off and I've made 4 days in a row doing everything now, so I'll have to remember that it is worth it to take the time to check things off, at least for me.

My garden was a bit of a mess, since it's been quite a while since I did the weeding. My aunt gave me some comeflowers to plant, but I needed to make space for them first, and since I can't set my yard on fire, I had to go out and pull a whole whack load of weeds. It's looking much better though, so I'm happy with that.

I've been watching a lot of Bob Ross, because he's awesome, and this post is taking me forever to write because there is an episode where he has a guest doing a portrait. It's a fascinating process and I haven't seen it before so it keeps grabbing my attention. The guest isn't as nice to listen to as Bob, but it was cool to see his style of portrait painting.

Do any of you have go to shows or videos for soothing vibes or pretty eye candy? Do you like art or crafts, or do you prefer nature or history or something fictional? Do you like music better, or perhaps you have something else that works for you when you need calm. I'd love to hear what works for you, if you'd like to share.
