I sort of feel like this one should be titled "I hate work" because that's been the theme this week. I'm grateful to have a job, and this one is pretty darn good overall, it's just been kind of shitty and frustrating this past week. And on top of that, my whole shift (who is on afternoons) is being forced for overtime this Saturday night, which always sucks balls.

My weekend is going to be a busy one, because I have plans with family Saturday morning, and then work plans (yuck) Saturday night, and then I have an out of town brunch/social day planned with some friends on Sunday, so I'll be up earlier than I normally would after working afternoons. It should be a fun day though, so I'm hoping I can get enough sleep to be functional.

Other than work, this week has been pretty decent; I've had time to get a fair number of tasks done, though I do still have some catch up to play with things like cleaning the bathroom and the kitchen and what-not. The thing I'm happiest about is getting the yard waste bags out on top, and managing to trim all the rose of charons along the one fence (with the more well-kept garden). One random thing I was wondering about while I was out there: can plants give off hostile vibes? Because I have some tall red stalks that have fluffy red flower bits on them (they blew in from the neighbour's alley), and I get a not so nice feel from them. They're all crowded pretty close around my baby mountain ash tree, and I wanted to remove a few of them so that it doesn't get overtaken (although it does actually seem to be doing okay right now), but I get an unpleasant feeling from them when I go to actually remove them. Is it all in my head, or can plants actually give off "touch me and bad things will happen" vibes?
