Weekly Post

So, this was actually a pretty decent week. I had moderate success with actually getting things done and keeping up with my daily tasks. I do have some more things I need to do (like making my Germany post and cleaning the garbage can) but overall I'm doing ok.

I finished reading the book "Leviathan Wakes" by James S. A. Corey, which is a sci-fi book, enormous, and the first book of 9. It was a rather compelling book, well-written, and pretty good, even though it was a bit outside my usual style. I'm not sure if I'll read the rest of the series, because the books all seem to feature different characters and I have enough books on my list already, but I am glad I gave it a shot. I am already more than halfway into my next book, "Winter's Orbit" by Everina Maxwell, and I'm enjoying it a lot.

On my list for the coming week: working OT Saturday afternoon, cleaning up the yard, cleaning up the house, working on my socks, and trying to finally get back to working on my quilt. I haven't been great about working on my projects lately, but maybe I can fix that now that some of my motivation seems to be coming back.
