Weekly Post
Dec. 29th, 2022 02:28 pmOh hey, the last Thursday of the year and I'm actually making my weekly post on time! I've been off work since last Thursday and I go back next Tuesday. A 12 day paid vacation is a lovely way to spend the holidays. I also saw lots of family for Christmas and Christmas Eve, avoided the boxing day crowds and visited a friend for a bonfire on boxing day. The family time was lovely, the food was delicious and the friction was kept to a minimum, so it really has been an enjoyable holiday season all told. I hope you all had a good time, no matter what holiday you celebrate, or if you celebrate none.
I got some very nice gifts; colorful new makeup, some fun new games and a bunch of chocolate. More than that though the family time was really nice. Good company and good food made for some great days, and I've had a few days to just relax too which is also super nice.
I managed to put together my year end goal review and get it posted. I'm decently pleased with my progress this year, though I was hoping for a better result. I did end up selling my house and moving though, so that was a big upheaval. I also had recurring periods where my motivation just totally disappeared, so fighting that was hard. It still went decently though, and I'm on track to make my goal post for next year which is a good start. Hopefully I can have more success in 2023, but honestly, I'll take any progress on my goals. As long as I keep trying, right?
