Weekly Update

This is gonna be a short one today. I've been feeling very blah and sluggish this week, so I haven't done much of anything, and my brain is not quite firing on all cylinders.

Thanksgiving dinner on Sunday went well. The food was delicious and we managed to have a civil family dinner. I worked the Monday (technically the holiday for us). It was a smooth shift and I technically made triple time, so it was worth it. The rest of this week at work has been training for an improvement project that I got roped into. I'm in a bit of a funny position, being the only hourly person in a group of supervisors/mamagers, and the only union member in the group as well. I'm hoping it goes well though; if it does, we could see a lot of improvements with efficiency and hopefully morale as well.

I got some leaves raked and picked up, and some weeds pulled. I have more to do, but I'm keeping up okay so far. Fall means lots of leaves since we have multiple trees, and I'll probably be raking until forst snow fall, but I'd rather not leave it all to the end. So far, so good. I haven't done a whole lot of other things this week, do to that general listless feeling, but I'm hoping next week will be better.
