Today is the last day to vote for the Rose & Bay Awards, so if you are interested in having a say, heading on over to [community profile] crowdfunding to see the voting posts and make your choices!

This week has been pretty good over all. Had lunch with my good friend on Friday; had a very nice dinner get together with a group of friends on Saturday that I have seen in awhile; got to watch a few live curling games and spend time with my new human on Sunday. All in all, a good weekend that wasn't too taxing.

I made it to the gym Saturday and Tuesday, and I have plans to go again tonight, so I seem to be settling back into my three days a week now that I have a car again. I've missed a few days of yoga and the dishes have been hit or miss, but all in all, I've been doing alright staying on top of the daily things I need to do. I did finish reading "Rebel Cowboy" on Tuesday, so I've met my goal of reading one book a month, which makes me happy.

In March, I need to work on my second sock, see if I can finally work on my quilt, and I'd like to read two books if I can (mostly because I have two I want to read and don't want to wait lol). We'll see how my time and energy plays out, but I'm feeling hopeful at the moment.

Today I confirmed that yoga really does work for me as a coping mechanism, and I should definitely make an effort at daily practice, or at least not missing multiple days in a row. I had a conversation about a vexing topic with the supervisor I get along least with at work, and we both managed to stay mostly civil. No satisfying conclusions were reached, but I was able to express my opinion without losing my shit and he stayed fairly level as well and appeared to be listening. I don't expect anything to change because of it, and I need to take a step back from caring again, but I am pleased with how I handle the situation. However, I was a bit worked up after and reaching the state that usually means I'm going to cry from being overloaded, but I managed to find a quite room to do some yoga. It was a long routine, but it was enough to center me and help me calm down, and I feel fairly even at the moment.

Learning things about yourself and making progress is always nice, and I'm happy I've finally found some things that work for me. I hope all of you are keeping well, take care of yourselves and have a great weekend!
