Bingo Fill - Acting

This is a quatern that fills the "acting" square of my Games and Entertainment Bingo Fest card.

Can You Guess?

Draw a paper from the basket,
figure out a plan of attack.
The timer flips; you try your best,
all your teammates try to guess.

They got it right! Next team is up,
draw a paper from the basket.
Indicate the category;
it's a movie, with seven words.

This one's tricky; they're in the dark.
Ding! Time ran out, switch teams again.

a different player gets a turn.

Look! It's an animal this time.
Are those dinosaur arms? Wait, no!
A roaring tiger: success! Next;

Bingo Fill - Storytelling

This is a free verse poem for the "Storytelling" square of my Games and Entertainment Bingo Fest card. This prompt also completes my bingo down the "I" column on my card!

Exciting Adventures

Settling new lands;
saving the world;
protecting against invaders;
going on quests.

These bits of story
- scattered throughout play -
make it than just cards,
more than just dice rolls.

They add flavour to the game;
they enhance the fun,
and just like any story,
the variety is endless.

New lands;
a ravaged world;
outer space;
rolling hills and open fields.
Which one will you choose?

*Bonus points for anyone who can guess the four games I alluded to, although some of the lines could apply to many different games. (The first and last stanzas refer to the same games, in the same order.)

Bingo Fill - Chaining

This is my fill for the "Chaining" square on my Games and Entertainment Bingo Fest card. I don't know if the form I used officially exists, but I'm calling it a "reverse nonet." Instead of starting with nine syllables and working down to one, as in a regular nonet, I've started with one syllable and worked up to nine. I think the form echos the prompt and I had fun writing it.

Greater Effect
-a "reverse nonet"

One,
then two,
then many,
add together
to greater effect;
better than on their own.
It requires some planning
in order to make it line up,
but the benefits are so worth it.

Whirling Circles

Twirl
around, around,
don't let it touch the ground.
Colourful ring circles about

Bingo Fill - Hackeysack/Foot Bag

This is an indiriso for the "Hackeysack/Foot Bag" square on by 4x4 Games and Entertainment Bingo Fest card. This is my 8th and final fill for that card, which means I filled half the prompts. I was going to have a 9th fill, but I'm really not happy with it and have decided not to post of count it. I had a lot of fun for this card, and I may come back to it to work on some of the prompts I haven't filled yet.

Fancy Footwork
