Well, it's an update

fuzzyredI apologize for being MIA for all of September; it seems I haven't been able to find the time or energy to type up a post. As I am currently suffering from hormone-related fatigue, this post probably won't cover all that has happened, but I'm going to try.
First, the camping trip with my sister. It was a great trip with a lot of amazing views. It was relaxing for the most part, although we did overbook ourselves a little bit. We went to four or five different parks, and most of them had beautiful cliffs and/or lakes, although the cliffs did make for some interesting trail walking. All in all, I'm glad we went and I had a really good time, even if six nights of tent camping and cooking over a fire was a bit much.
Next, I went to a local fair with a friend that had all kinds of oddities, vendors, and shows. Some people dressed up and it was fun to browse and people watch, plus the company was great. :) It was a nice way to spend a Saturday evening and I'm glad we went.
The rest: work has been pretty average lately, nothing awful, nothing fantastic. Daily tasks have been okay, but I've missed a few days of yoga. I have been making swift progress on Duolingo, because I realized I was lagging behind on my big goals for the year. I've managed to do extra lessons just about every day though, so I should be able to make four out of the five goals. The French goal is a lost cause though; I aimed way too high with that one. I've also finally made progress on my puzzle, because my sister had me pull it out and she started helping with it. This is mostly because she wants to make a different one and needs the roll up mat, but I won't argue with progress 😆
Next up, I want to do what yard work I can, in hopes of staying on top of the fall demands. We'll see how that goes, but I'd rather chip away at it than try to binge all at once. I also want to make more progress on my blanket and my scarf, so that they get done by the time they should be done. I also have a trip to the pumpkin patch planned for this weekend, and a trip to Cedar Point next weekend, so I have some fun things coming up.
All in all, life has been pretty good lately. I hope you all are doing well, and life treats you kindly in the coming weeks.
