I have put this here for new visitors, so they can see what the nook looks like. You can also feel free to comment on this post as many times as you want, if you want to visit and there are no new suitable posts. :) I like all friends.
The carpet is thick, soft and cream coloured, while the walls are a yellow bronze colour. In the corner along one wall there is a large sofa, able to seat 4 or 5 people comfortably. Along the other corner wall there is a smaller sofa for 2 or 3 people. In the middle of the furniture, there is a low, round coffee table, perfect for colouring at or for other craft activities.
J hums to herself as she puts out new items in her fuzzy nook. She has a scratching post and a cat tree for climbing, which both go along the wall opposite the couch. She puts out a few fluffy beds too, in varying sizes, in case any one prefers the floor. (She does sometimes and figures others might too.)
She also puts in a large sturdy perch and marks off an area that says "Landing Pad" in case any winged friends want to visit. (She is secretly hoping
mama_kestrel shows up.)
There is now a blue chaise chair in the nook as well, which has been placed near the couch and is good for both sitting and spreading out lengthwise.
[P.S. In case anyone was wondering, I am in the Eastern Time zone (-5 UTC.) So if you ever want to know when my comments were actually posted, now you can figure it out :)]

Date: 2018-06-20 08:25 pm (UTC)I'm a Transformer. Here's my wiki page, but I'm not as evil as it would lead one to believe.
I don't eat human foods often, but if you've a cookie lying about I'd happily accept. I communicate generally by projecting pictures and words on walls, since the language I speak, Cybertronian, is a bit hard for most species to grasp.
I'm both a different gender and different appearance than canon would lead you to believe. Canon pictures me as more of a bird, instead of a small, robotic dragon with a beak, and genders me as male.
Also, funnily enough, the first person that this system ever knew about living here is also a dragon. I should send her your way at some point as she's quite friendly and very good at storytelling.

Date: 2018-06-21 01:01 am (UTC)I think it's so cool that you are a tranformer! Do you have a second form? Being able to project pictures and words is cool, though I also love learning new languages. (I am currently improving my French and trying to learn Polish, though I find I don't have a lot of time.)
You should definitely let her know she is welcome at any time. I really like dragons, especially friendly ones, I like making new friends and I like stories. :)
I am quite glad so many of you have decided to visit me, I enjoy your company a lot. <3

A mandelbear lumbers in...
Date: 2019-01-23 09:03 pm (UTC)He puts a plate of chocolate chip cookies on the coffee table before spreading out onto the chaise chair. He has an affinity for blue. His nametag (somewhere around 1+i) says "Mandelbear (he/him; sometimes they/them. Hugs: yes.)".
Love the nook.

Date: 2019-01-23 09:54 pm (UTC)J (in her fuzzy-in-a-good-way bathrobe) sets out some hot water and a variety of teas, including mint, chamomile and earl grey, in the hopes that one of them will will help dissipate the fuzziness. She also sets out some beef stew, cheese, carrots and vanilla chocolate swirl cheescake.
Enjoy the chaise and the nook :) *hugs for you*

Date: 2019-09-17 03:55 pm (UTC)Pets please? It's been a hard month already and it's barely half over. Also, ad a +whatever to people who like the nook, because I do, too.

Date: 2019-09-17 07:42 pm (UTC)You can definitely have pets. I'm sorry it's been a rough month, I hope the rest of it gets better. *Fuzzy J pets Trausio gently, trying to find the best spots for pets*

Date: 2019-09-18 04:07 am (UTC)Maybe it's a first world problem, but this is that *one thing* for the year I've picked for *me* and not being able to go is going to piss me of something not fun.
*Trausio stretches out her neck for pets*
Also: fuzzy friend? Would you mind running over to

I will take a look :) I don't know if I'll be able to make any recommendations, but I will do my best.

Date: 2020-05-02 09:31 pm (UTC)*sighs* Some days are like that. Other days are good. I got out of the house for an errand today, and the new-becoming friends offered lunch, so that was a good thing.
The not so good: I still haven't been stimulated yet, and it's getting annoying.

Date: 2020-05-02 10:45 pm (UTC)Getting out of the house is good :) I'm glad things are going well with the new almost friend. I did some shopping and gardening today, before baking.
Oh boy, that's rough. Is it just that you have nothing to do in the house? It sucks when you spend the majority of the time bored and looking for something to do.
I've been hoping to get a response to one of my posts, but nothing yet. Waiting is hard.
Comments from you always make me smile though :) I hope you have good, stimulating days in the near future *hug*

Date: 2020-05-02 11:47 pm (UTC)I did bake, or tried anyway, yesterday, and it didn't go well. At all. I tried making netela brownies, and apparently that 1 extra ounce of spred really scrambles things. )1-1/4 cup nutela; half cup flour, 2 large eggs) I had a 13 ounce jar of nutela. By tghe time i was don trying to scrap the batter in an out of the pan to save it, there wasn't enough left to stick your face in (Face sized doesn't cut it). I enjoyed the process enough to try again, but this time I'ma see if I can find a recipe that calls for the entire jar of 13 ounces to see how much more of what the cfuck ever I need3ed that I didn't put in.
*Stretches out and finds a way to itch between wings vivorously*

Date: 2020-05-03 03:21 am (UTC)Hmm... It could just be the ratio. If it was too runny, I'd say more flour. If it was crumbly or thick, I'd say less flour or an extra egg.
Would you like a hand grooming?

Date: 2020-05-03 02:16 pm (UTC)Yeah, it's an apartment, and there's a bit of a grassy area down by the mailboxes, but that's about it.
Oh hell yes please. It's spring molt, and i'm miserable.

Date: 2020-05-03 03:34 pm (UTC)Ah, not much space for anything at all then.
*pulls up a tab on moulting in birds for some idea of where to start* I'm more than happy to continue this thread here, but if you want some extra coziness, my new Comfort Corner post is up (though I don't have any vistors yet). *J starts coming through the wings with her fingers, following the pattern of the feathers and smoothing what she can, while dislodging anything that comes free*
