March was a very busy month, so I won'tbe surprised if I missed some of my goals. I did get some of my motivation back though, so hopefully the results aren't too bad. For more details, look behind the cut.
--Practice one language a month on Duolingo. French, German, Polish, Hawaiian, and Esperanto, then repeat.
---I practiced Polish in March, although I did miss one day of Duolingo by mistake.
--Complete 14 units in French, complete 8 legendary units in Polish, complete 6 units in Hawaiian, complete 8 Legendary units in Esperanto, complete 15 units in German.
---I completed 4 units in Polish.
--Do yoga every day except Mondays.
---I missed 11 days of yoga again in March, which is far from ideal. I really want to try to improve this in April.
--Do at least one 30 days of yoga challenge.
---I did not do this in March.
--Take one walk a week.
---I did this four of the weeks and the one I missed involved doing a rope course and bouncing on trampolines, so I don't feel to bad about the missed one.
--Make a weekly post on Thursdays and make the Comfort Corner posts on the first third and fifth Sundays of the month.
---I made all of my weekly posts. I missed my fifth Sunday post, because I absolutely blanked on the fact that I needed to do so. April is back to having only four Sundays, so I won't have this problem next month lol.
--Cook once a week. I'd like to focus on healthier meals and ways to give myself more variety throughout the week.
---I cooked something every week this month.
--Do the dishes Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays as well as after any cooking or baking I do.
---I only missed five days in March, which is a definite improvement over February. Hopefully April will be better still.
--Water daily and weed weekly during the growing season (May to September probably).
---Not applicable yet.
--$X/week in savings.
---Success again!
--Donate to charity once a month. Create the list by January 15 (done January 10).
---Done in March.
--Read fifteen books. Make a list by January 15 (done Jan 1).
---I finished "Prince Jack" in March and started the book "The Last Dragon on Mars."
--Play ten flute songs a month.
---I only played 5 songs from my "Pop Hits" book this month, since I forgot to finish my practice, unfortunately.
--Work on old bingo cards.
---No progress yet.
--Finish the baby blanket I'm working on.
---I made zero progress in March, unfortunately, but I'm goping April will be better.
--Crochet a shawl by end of March.
---I also did not make any progress on my shawl. Again, I am hoping to get back to this in April.
--Get one colour of fabric cut for my quilt.
---No progress in March.
--Complete one puzzle.
---I have not managed to work on the eagle puzlle yet, sadly.
--Take one "me" day a month. I'd like to plan these out this year so that I can make the most of them, rather than falling into them sideways.
---March ended up pretty busy and I forgot to take a me day.
--Go to an amusement park.
---Wrong season for this.
--Do one outside activity a month.
---My boyfriend and I walked around a pond conservation area on an out of town trip. It was pretty seeing the ponds frozen over and covered in snow.
--Answer DW comments as I get them. Answer 5 per weekend to clear any backlog that may accumulate.
---I managed to answer a lot of comments this month, though I do have a few remaining in my backlog still.
--Fill in wall calendar with all recurring goals by January 15.
---Done January 13.
--Work on one slice of the Circle of Life. Have a plan by the end of January.
---I have not made a plan or done any work on this yet, unfortunately.
--Mark daily tasks as they are completed. Write a monthly goal review at the end of each month.
---I did okay marking the tasks, though there were some delays and I forgot a whole week of marking down my coffee intake. My goal review is on time this month!
--Do one seasonal activity each season.
---I started my spring cleaning this month by going through my paperwork and seeing if there were any old bills and other things I could dispose of. I now have a pile of things that needs to be burned or shredded.
--Have a maximum of four coffees a week. I'd like to keep an eye on my caffeine intake, so I figured this would be an easy way to start.
---I missed my coffee goal on at least two weeks and possibly a third (I forgot to mark that week), so I need to do better at sticking to this goal next month.
--**--Random fun activity: In March, I went to an indoor ropes course/trampoline park, participated in a glow-in-the-dark curling event, went to a hockey game, went to a yarn fair, and walked to a waterfall. There were also a lot of fun social events this month, so all in all, March was rather fun and busy.
I missed my targets on a few goals that I really would have rather not missed, but all in all it was a fun month and not totally terrible. In April, I'm going to try to focus on the weak spots and try to start on some of my goals with ambiguous end dates.
