This week I got some work done for the Shiv thread (which I need to continue this weekend) and found a lovely post from redsixwing about how they create fictional worlds. This inspired me to do a little work on fleshing out my own in progress story, "Avoiding the Feast". I haven't written another chapter yet, but I'm hoping to soon. I didn't abandon it!
I'm also learning that feelings aren't always pleasant, that longing and envy don't really listen to reason, and good friends are invaluable. I've had decent success with shielding myself from other people's emotions, but I still have no idea what to do with ny own when they show up in excess. Any ideas?
