Weekly Post

My week has been mostly fine and I've made decent progress on my knitting. I'm a little off schedule but I should be back on track by tomorrow night. If everything goes the way I want, I'm hoping to be a day or two ahead of schedule by the end of Sunday. One sad point in my week is that my weekly gathering with like-minded friends got cancelled for the time being, but I did go visit with another friend one on one, so that helped.
I am rapidly reaching the point of being tired of all the coverage of COVID-19 and all the fear and panic that is going along with it. I recognize that it is serious and needs to be handled appropriately, but I just want it to be done. The longer this goes on, the more I want of one two extremes to happen. Either everyone get back to normal, with extra attention to hand-washing, hygiene, and common sense, with high risk groups taking extra precautions OR give everyone one weeks notice, then EVERYBODY, with the exception of hospital staff and a skeleton crew of first responders, stay home for two weeks. At the end of it, 90% of people would be recovered, and the chances or new cases would be much lower, then we could all get on with our lives.
Have I gone nuts, or is there a solution I missed?
