I'm not sure how well it suits me personally for being able to take what I learn and make my own sentences, but part of that is my brain I think. I find, at least with the French, that there is a lot of everyday vocabulary and they make an effort to teach different grammatical tenses too. I find it overly picky at times but I think it's a good first step and I've definitely learned some things.
