First, the big machines dig a hole in the ground,
great mounds of dirt get piled in many bins;
concrete gets poured to make the base safe and sound.
The walls come next, pounding tools make quite the din.
The roof goes on, we are making progress now;
the electrical and plumbing are done, wow!
Paint goes on, the furnishings find their places.
Ready to move in, see the happy faces.

When I looked at your card at the beginning, this was the square that caught my attention (for obvious reasons). I was going to write something, but I had so many different ideas I didn’t know where to start. Then I read this and realized I didn’t need to - you captured it all in just a few short lines.
