I really wish people with "sports cars" would not rev their engines, especially through underpasses. Unless it was a manual car and that was just the sound of shifting gears? Either way, the frequency of that sound is bad on a good day and downright awful and cringey when my ears seem to be dialled up to 11.

I always liked getting on the throttle on my bike in a tunnel, but my bike has a nice throaty boom to it, not this ANGRY BEEZ thing a lot of dude-bros seem to be a fan of... nor the harshness of Harley Hawg straight pipes. There's a fine line between showing off a bit and general assholier-than-thou-ness, and a definite tendency to creep over it.

What really chaps my shorts is the drum and bass dialed up to 15.... how do you hear the traffic around you?!

Throaty booms are something I can probably handle. Angry beez, not so much. There are some bikes that sound really good, and some that grate a little more. I have yet to find a car engine that doesn't put my hackles up when it gets revved (though yesterday is definitely an extreme case, not the norm). "Assholier-than-thou-ness" 😆😆😆 That is the best description ever! *laugh, hug*

Oh yeah, that gets me too. If I can hear it and feel it in my car, how can you possibly tolerate it in your *own* car? And you make a valid point about not being able to hear your surroundings either.
