Fandom Snowflake: Challenge 13 Favorite Fandom Memory

Challenge 13.

In your own space, share a favorite memory about fandom: the first time you got into fandom, the last time a fanwork touched your heart, wild times with fellow fans (whether on-line or off-line), a lovely comment you’ve received or have left for someone. I don't have specific details, but I think my favourite fandom memory is this first time I got a reply to a comment I left on a story I liked. I know it's usually the authors who squee over comments, but there's still something special about getting a reply, and I think that's still my favourite part about fandom, and DW. Being able to interact with creators and other fans and have a discussion or just mutual squeeing over things we share in common.

The connection definitely makes it extra special. I always enjoy a good story, but the extra edge fandom has over conventional books is that ability for creator and reader to interact, or for fans to interact with each other much easier. I'm glad you liked my response :D
