Weekly post
Jan. 9th, 2020 09:27 pmOne of my new year's resolutions was to post to DW weekly. I have decided to do this on Thursdays, though I may change the day if I find this isn't working. I haven't decided if there will be a theme to my posts or not, so for now they will be about whatever strikes my interest that day. This week's post will be about current progress on my resolutions, even though it is still very early in the year.
I did manage to make myself a tentative meal plan for the month (basically just enough recipe ideas to get me through), and I did cook one of the meals I wrote down, so I've had curried coconut chicken, quinoa, and sautéed mushrooms all week. I'm counting this one as a success, and I'm eager to try at least one of the remaining ideas this coming week. I'm hoping that having a variety of choices set out before hand will make it easier to pick a recipe when I do my weekly shopping, and help avoid the feeling of "There's nothing I feel like eating." So far so good on this one.
Other goals I've succeeded with include posting the Comfort Corner post on time, making to the gym for yoga, making it to the gym on a separate day for cardio, and writing a weekly post (this one, yay!).
The rest of my goals are either specific things that just haven't been done yet, or have been giving me a bit of difficulty. One goal was to work on updates for
ysabetwordsmith weekly, and I only sort of did that this week. I've also made much less progress on my knitting than I hoped to, but I haven't been feeling the best this week, so I'm hoping next week will be better. All in all, it's been a pretty good start to the year. How is your January going?
