I know it's been a little while since my last update, but the lead-up to the holidays kind of kicked my butt. I did manage to finish all the crochet ornaments I needed to hand out, though some were finished Christmas day. Between my sister and I, we made a boat-load of cookies, but everyone seemed to enjoy them so it was worth it.

The holiday itself was a bit different than normal but overall really good. I got some really nice gifts and I did get to see most of my family, even if it was in a Covid friendly way. The 23rd involved seeing my two cousins and their kids to deliver presents and cookies and do a bit of visiting. Christmas Eve saw last minute cookie preparations, a visit to my aunt, and then dinner with my grandparents, dad, and sister. Christmas itself was spent with my mom and sister and then I was back there the next day to play board games. All in all it was a great time and I'm very grateful I got to see them all.

Thankfully, the last few days have been a bit quieter, and I have actually managed to make some decent progress on website updates for [personal profile] ysabetwordsmith. I'm hoping to continue that in the coming year, and maybe (if I develop superpowers) I can get everything current, or at least dang close.

On the subject of superpowers, does anyone know a way to make them growing in/finish developing? I have always gotten random (usually fleeting) onminous feelings, like something bad is about to happen. It happened again today, and it always makes me nervous cause I never get any *details*. Even if it was a hypothetical, or some vague idea, I'd prefer that over just the feeling. It feels like just enough warning for me to be paranoid, but not enough to actually do anything with it. I've only ever had any clarity twice in my whole life, and while I'm not certain I actually want to have visions, I would appreciate being able to use this in some way, instead of just feeling uneasy.

Review of 2020 Resolutions here. )

I hope your holidays went well, and that everyone was a much better 2021!

[personal profile] conuly has created [community profile] cookbook_challenge, for those of us who have stacks and stacks of unused cookbooks (or bookmarked recipes) and could use some motivation in actually cooking in the coming year. If you want to join in, or just cheerlead, go give the community page a look; it has all the details!

Below is my current list of items that could be used to make a bingo card for this challenge. If you have any suggestions on what I should add, or perhaps things I should change, feel free to let me know. I plan on making a few community cards of different content and sizes, so there should be enough variety to suit most people. Of course, you can also make your own, or choose to ignore the cards altogether. To give time for suggestions, I'll probably wait until at least Monday before making and posting the cards.
