Update time!

Hello again! June has been off to a good start so far. I've done fairly well with my daily goals, although I do need to improve in a few areas. Weeding, watering and dishes need more attention and my goal for limiting coffee needs a bit more dedication. On the plus side, Duolingo and yoga are going well, I've made a good start on my puzzle, I started a hat for myself, and I've read three of the new stories on QuantumBang, as well as two from previous years.

This weekend, I "ran" a Mudgirl 5k with three of my coworkers on Saturday. The entry fee went towards cancer research and it was a really fun time. My fiance and two of the other partners came with us to watch, as it was a ladies only event. I had a really fun time, although it was definitely very muddy and the shower when I got home felt really good. On Sunday, I had my engagement party in a local park. My sister did a great job with the decorations and food, there was no family drama, and everyone had a good time. It was a success all around, and I no longer have to worry about it going wrong. Friends and family, beautiful weather, and delicious food; I had a really great time.

Coming up, I need to practice my flute and finishing up puzzle. I would also like to get my yard work done and do more work on my hat. On the more fun side, I have lunch with my good friend tomorrow, then my fiance and I will be going to a local food festival. Next Wednesday, we leave for a trip to Nova Scotia which I'm really excited for! I've never been before and it should be a lot of fun.
