Weekly Update

fuzzyredI'm cutting it close today, because I once again lost track of time (and the day). XD This week has been fairly uneventful, with most daily tasks getting done but nothing major happening. I still need to buy some pkants and put them in the ground, but I did get some weeding done.
On that note, I have a question that may be ridiculous, but: Can plants be menancing? I had some probably weeds that I finally pulled from my garden, but they were giving off a serious air of menace which had me avoiding them for a bit; I even put gloves on before pulling them. I don't know if I'm crazy, or if other people have felt this, but I definitely would have avoided those weeds if I could have.
In other news, I have lunch with my good friend planned for tomorrow, and a weekend of fun things planned with my boyfriend. I have also finished knitting my socks, so I'm free to start on a new project as soon as I feel like it. I also finished the French chapter book I was reading and I enjoyed it a lot.
Hopefully this next week is productive, and I can start on my new project soon. Buying plants is also high on my priority list, because I want to plant them before it gets ridiculously out of season.

Date: 2024-05-17 08:26 am (UTC)Can't say ever felt such a thing, but maybe that's how those plants defend themselves from animals. Instead of thorns or toxins, they create a menacing look.
